E85 Flexfuel – ECU calibration for ethanol E85
Engine control unit calibration for running on ethanol E85 or on a blend of petrol and E85 (Flexfuel) on supported petrol engines.
Fuelling, ignition timing and the related strategies are adjusted for a higher ethanol content. The file is prepared for the exact software version and the listed hardware.

Service details
E85 needs a considerably higher fuel flow (roughly a third more); many engines need larger injectors or a stronger fuel pump. If the vehicle has an ethanol content sensor, a full Flexfuel calibration can be prepared; without the sensor the calibration is prepared for a fixed E85 share.

- Complete original file read from the control unit, the tool and the read method used
- Fuel system (injectors, pump), ethanol content sensor (yes/no) and the requested E85 share

Do I need different injectors for E85?
It depends on the engine and the requested ethanol share. For a smaller share the stock injectors may be enough; for full E85 larger injectors and a stronger pump are usually needed. State in the request what is fitted to the vehicle.
