Requests are submitted from a DR-files account. If you are not signed in, you will be asked to sign in or register first. The selected service is kept.

Required information

  • Vehicle, engine and transmission type
  • TCU manufacturer, hardware and software number (if known)
  • Complete original file read from the TCU, the tool and the read method used
  • Current engine calibration status

Typical workflow

  1. 01Choose the service and enter the vehicle and control unit details.
  2. 02Upload the original file.
  3. 03Fixed prices are charged from your credits when you submit; other prices are confirmed in the request and charged when you accept them.
  4. 04The file is prepared and delivered in your account.

Technical notes

  • Torque limits are only changed where the transmission software and hardware support it.
  • The TCU calibration should match the engine calibration. Mention any ECU modification in the request.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a TCU file when the engine is calibrated?

Not always. A TCU calibration is recommended when the engine torque exceeds the original transmission limits or when shift behaviour should be adapted.

Which transmissions are supported?

Support depends on the TCU and the software version. Submit the hardware and software number and the request is checked before any work starts.
