Start/Stop Off – disabling the Start/Stop system in the ECU software

Software deactivation of the automatic Start/Stop system (Start/Stop Off) in the engine control unit on supported applications.

The system stays permanently off or is set to "off" as the default state after each start, depending on what the ECU software allows. The file is prepared for the exact software version.

Technical notes

  • The fixed price in credits is deducted when the request is submitted. The file is prepared for the exact software version and checked before delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Start/Stop button keep working after the modification?

On most applications yes: the function is off after each start and can be switched on with the button. A permanent deactivation is possible where the ECU software allows it; state the requested behaviour in the request.

What is needed for the request?

The complete original file read from the control unit, the hardware and software number and a description of the required function. You select the service when uploading the file and see the price in credits before submitting.
