NOx Off – NOx sensor software for non-road vehicles
Software deactivation of the NOx sensor evaluation (NOx Off) in the engine control unit for vehicles that are not operated on public roads.
Each request is submitted with the declared vehicle use and the country of use and is reviewed before acceptance. Requests for road vehicles are declined.
Requests are submitted from a DR-files account. If you are not signed in, you will be asked to sign in or register first. The selected service is kept.
Service details
The modification disables the evaluation of the NOx sensor signal and the related fault codes; it is usually handled together with AdBlue Off or EGR Off because the functions are linked.
If the vehicle is in road use and the emission system reports faults, the lawful options are a repair of the affected components, a check of the current calibration (File Review) or a return to the original software (Original Files).

- Vehicle manufacturer, model, year and engine code
- ECU manufacturer, hardware and software number (if known)
- Complete original file read from the control unit, the tool and the read method used
- Declared vehicle use (motorsport, off-road, export) and country of use
- VIN and a description of the vehicle, its use and the technical situation

- The price in credits is confirmed in the request after review. Nothing is charged before you accept it.
- The modification makes the vehicle technically unfit for operation on public roads (in the Czech Republic § 37 of Act No. 56/2001 Sb.). With the request you sign a declaration on the use of the vehicle and receive our written notice by e-mail.
Frequently asked questions
Do you provide NOx Off for road vehicles?
No. NOx sensor related software is prepared only for vehicles that are not operated on public roads. For a road vehicle with a faulty NOx sensor the answer is a sensor replacement and a repair of the cause.
What is needed for the request?
The complete original file, the hardware and software number, the VIN, the declared vehicle use with the country of use and a description of the application. Requests for vehicles in road use are declined.
