DPF Off – DPF / FAP delete software for non-road vehicles
Software removal of the diesel particulate filter functions (DPF Off, DPF delete) from the engine ECU for vehicles not operated on public roads: motorsport, off-road machines, export outside the EU.
Each request is submitted with the declared vehicle use and the country of use and is reviewed before acceptance. Requests for road vehicles are declined.
Requests are submitted from a DR-files account. If you are not signed in, you will be asked to sign in or register first. The selected service is kept.
Service details
The modification disables filter regeneration, differential pressure and temperature monitoring and the related fault codes in the ECU software; the filter itself has to be physically removed or replaced. The file is prepared for the exact software and hardware version of the control unit, together with EGR Off or AdBlue Off where required.
If the vehicle is in road use and the emission system reports faults, the lawful options are a repair of the affected components, a check of the current calibration (File Review) or a return to the original software (Original Files).

- The modification makes the vehicle technically unfit for operation on public roads (in the Czech Republic § 37 of Act No. 56/2001 Sb.). With the request you sign a declaration on the use of the vehicle and receive our written notice by e-mail.

Do you provide DPF OFF for road vehicles?
No. DPF/FAP-related software is prepared only for vehicles that are not operated on public roads, for example motorsport or off-road machines. The declared use is reviewed and requests for road vehicles are declined.
What is needed for the request?
The complete original file, the hardware and software number, the declared vehicle use with the country of use and a description of the application. Requests for vehicles in road use are declined.
What is the difference between DPF Off and a DPF repair or regeneration?
DPF Off is a permanent software deactivation for non-road vehicles. For a road vehicle with a clogged or damaged filter the answer is a forced regeneration, cleaning or replacement of the filter and a repair of the cause. We do not accept such a request as DPF Off, but we can help with a calibration check (File Review) or an original file.
Is DPF Off done together with EGR Off?
Often, yes. After the filter is removed, related functions (EGR, possibly SCR/AdBlue) stay active and may report faults. State in the request what should be included; we review and quote it as a whole.
