Answers to the most common questions about files, processing, payment and delivery.
Which files do you accept?
The complete original read from a MASTER tool, typically .bin, .ori, .hex, .frf or a .zip archive, including files without an extension. Please do not upload files that have already been modified or files from SLAVE tools.
Do you accept files from SLAVE tools?
No. A SLAVE tool encrypts the read so that only its paired MASTER tool can open it, and we are unable to decode such files. Please read the file with a MASTER tool (KESS3 Master, Autotuner Master, KTAG Master etc.).
How long does processing take?
Files are usually processed within 1 hours during support hours (Mon–Fri 8:00–16:00). Orders placed outside these hours are processed on the next working day. You will be notified by email as soon as the file is ready.
Do you create files individually or use a database?
Every file is modified individually based on the original you upload. This ensures the modification matches the exact software version of your ECU.
Are checksums corrected?
Yes. Checksums are corrected in every delivered file. If your tool also corrects checksums automatically, this does not cause any problem.
What happens if the modification cannot be carried out?
Not every modification is technically possible on every ECU – it depends on the specific unit and software version, which we verify only after receiving the file. If a selected modification cannot be carried out, we will contact you by email and refund the payment for that modification or, if you prefer, for the whole order. If the delivered file does not work as ordered, we will correct it free of charge.
Which ECUs do you support?
We support most common ECUs from Bosch, Continental/Siemens, Delphi, Denso, Marelli and other manufacturers. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Prices are shown and orders can be placed only after a free registration with a confirmed email address. Your account keeps all orders, files and invoices in one place.
Is the first modification really free?
Yes, for the first 50 registered customers. One basic modification in the first order is free, for example DPF, EGR or AdBlue off; Stage 1 and 2, TCU, E85 and IMMO are not included. If you choose several, the most expensive of them is deducted. The offer can be used once per person and once per vehicle, so the VIN is required.
How do I pay and receive an invoice?
Payment is made online during the order by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay via Stripe. An invoice is issued automatically after payment and sent to your email.
Can the modified vehicle be used on public roads?
Modifications of emission systems (DPF, EGR, AdBlue…) are intended exclusively for motorsport and off-road use outside public roads. The customer is responsible for how the vehicle is used.
